MORE TO HELP HEAL
THE CREDIT INFECTION
Build Credit
If you do not have an established credit history, or
wish to improve your past credit history, there are several steps you
can follow to build or improve your credit worthiness.
The first step is
to understand your credit report, and what it says about you.
Inaccurate or out-of-date information can impair your ability to get
credit.
By regularly monitoring your credit file, you can
dispute any misinformation that may be included on your credit report.
DEBT
We have put a wealth of
information into this Resource Package. We recommend that you study it
carefully. We know the pain and frustration of debt and sincerely hope
you get what you want. In this vein we have included a section on Debt
and Its Cure.

In his book David van Dyke has written:
CHAPTER EIGHT
HOW TO MAKE Negotiations With CREDITORS GET BETTER AND BETTER OVER TIME
Now even at this point
in time, negotiations can lead to incredible deals. A debtor should
seriously ask himself, however, whether the money will do more good at
this time in his pocket, or his creditor's pockets. Even if a debt is
satisfied with 50 cents on the dollar, which is money gone from the
limited resources of the debtor. He needs every dollar, usually. Later
these bills can be paid with perhaps even less money, maybe 30 cents on
the dollar.
EVENTUALLY COLLECTION AGENCIES TAKE OVER COLLECTION EFFORTS.
Usually
by this time the real creditor is out of the picture, and a collection
agency or attorney is negotiating for the creditor. The real creditor is
usually harder to get to accept deals and discounts.
